Questions NRI owners ask

Do I need to travel to India to sell?+

Usually not. With a properly executed Power of Attorney, a trusted family member or representative can sign on your behalf. We guide you through drafting, apostille or consulate attestation, and adjudication in India.

How much TDS will the buyer deduct?+

When an NRI sells, the buyer must deduct TDS on the capital gains under Section 195, often at a higher rate than for residents. A lower-deduction certificate from the Income Tax department can reduce this. Our partner CA can advise on your case.

Can I take the money abroad?+

Generally yes, within RBI limits and with the right documentation (Form 15CA/15CB). Your bank and CA handle the specifics; we coordinate the paperwork from the sale side.

The house is in my late parents' name. Can it still be sold?+

Yes, once the property is transferred to the legal heirs (through a will, succession or mutation). We help you understand what's needed at the Estate Office before buyers are involved.

How will I know what's happening?+

You get regular updates on WhatsApp: valuation, documents, every serious buyer, visit feedback and offers. Video walkthroughs on request.

General information only, not legal or tax advice. Your CA and lawyer should confirm what applies to you.
